The Highway/Building Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Christian County the Animal Control Building 300 Baughman Drive, Taylorville, Illinois The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the following issues concerning building, grounds, environmental, zoning, welfare and/or county highway business and /or financial matters: 1. Animal Control/Zoning updates, including proposed facility hours of business and zoning location. 2. Building updates: including capital improvement projects at courthouse and jail. 3. Highway Projects and Business: including a. culvert quotes, b. request from Coalition Against Bigger Trucks (CABT) opposing longer, heavier trucks c. Equipment Discussion d. Advertising Signs 4. Refer proposed revisions to the CC Department of Public Health’s Food and Sanitation Ordinance to Legislative Committee. 5. Any other matters that properly come before the committee and/or comments or questions from the public.
