The Finance Committee meeting will be held on
Thursday, July 16, 2020
at 6:30 pm
in the County Board Meeting Room, second floor of the
Christian County Courthouse, Taylorville, Illinois.
In accordance with EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-07 issued by Governor Pritzker, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation and
Phase 4 does allow us to social distance and to have more people in a room. However, none of the rooms at the courthouse can accommodate 50 people with social distancing. There are 19 seats in the county board room and 24 in courtroom C. [Courtroom A will not be available.] These meetings will continue to be done by free conference call.com as well. Please contact the chairman’s office to reserve your seat prior to the day of the meeting. County Board members and applicable department heads will have preference prior to public seating.

The purpose of this meeting is for discussions and/or motions to approve/adopt and /or deny and/or table and/or amend and/or refer to an appropriate Committee in whole or in part the following:
- Approve claims as presented for July.
- Continue discussion on Probation GPS method of payment through the end of the year.
- Discuss audio and video options for updating the county board meeting room.
- Discuss payroll/accounts payable/general ledger software replacement due to current software support ending.
- Referrals from any other committee, any other matters that are properly brought before the Committee and/or questions from the public.
