Public Meeting Notice

At the Christian County Courthouse

In accordance with EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-07 issued by Governor Pritzker and extended via EXECUTIVE ORDERS 2020-18, 2020-33, and 2020-39, this meeting will be conducted via remote application.

This public hearing will be conducted online and telephonically using the Free Conference Call Application which can be accessed through the following link: https//join.freeconferencecall.com/christiancounty.

Members of the public will not be permitted in the Christian County Courthouse to attend this meeting, and must instead attend either online or telephonically.

If necessary, the public hearing will continue on June 24 and/or June 30, 2020 beginning at 7:00 pm, as announced by the Christian County Zoning Board of Appeals, using the same Access Code, phone numbers and web addresses as above. The referenced text amendment can be found at: www.christiancountyil.gov/zoning.

Should anyone wish to join the meeting (via telephone above) and register as an Interested Party or to make a public comment, you will need to submit your name, township of residence, and telephone number to: publiccomments@www.christiancountyil.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020. Interested parties must also state the basis for their being an “Interested Party” as that term is defined the Articles of Rules and Procedure, the nature of the evidence that the Interested Party is going to present, if any, and the Interested Party’s delegated representative, if any.

The Christian County Zoning Board of Appeals will also accept comments in writing sent to: publiccomments@www.christiancountyil.gov, which comments will be incorporated into the record.
